A HIPAA form is completed. Also a coaching agreement is signed by both parties outlining the responsibilities of each party, stating the goals and outcomes you are hoping to achieve. It also states when, where and how we meet for each session and a start and completion date, cancellation policy, etc. I sometimes have clients complete some assessments, but they are optional and done on a case by case basis depending on the client’s goals and circumstances.

Your doctor is not keeping up-to-date with the field of epigenetics. It's your genes that load the gun, your diet and lifestyle is what pulls the trigger. If you book a free consultation with me, I can share some studies about how toxins, infections, gut health, stress and lack of sleep can overstimulate our immune response, and how addressing those issues can calm it down.

The diet alone can be quite helpful. Supplements can boost nutritional deficiencies. It's the other factors such as stress management and getting enough rest, setting healthy boundaries, and dealing with any unresolved traumas that will help most people begin to heal. We put it all together including hormone balance. I can refer you to a practitioner who can prescribe bioidentical hormone replacement if needed. It is possible to change the expression of your genes when triggers are removed, the body gets the nutrients it needs and stress and sleep is addressed. We also look for the root causes of the autoimmunity and make sure the detox organs are functioning optimally. Lastly, once the gut has healed there is a protocol for reintroducing certain foods.
